In the survey from their 2005 visit to Rimland, CARF noted many strengths of Rimland. They said that we listen and respond quickly to parents, guardians, business partners, and stakeholders, we offer a comprehensive and extensive training program, we have an excellent reputation in the community, there is staff longevity, we seek input from many sources on a regular basis, outcomes management system is well organized, high-quality new Developmental Training space, well defined process for complaints and grievances, staff works collaboratively between programs and with other organizations, and the board is comprised of individuals whose family members receive service.
CARF was extremely impressed in the way that Rimland has kept with the founding traditions of the organization, board and staff commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the individuals that we serve, and the creative efforts and supportive environment that we provide for the program participants.
